On Monday, March 4, 2013, students at Verdunville Elementary had special visitors in celebration of Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ birthday, which was on March 2. Parents and guests stopped by to read Dr. Seuss books to the students while Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2 roamed the hallways and visited the classrooms. Bonnie Vance is principal of the school.
