PERU, Ind. — Vickie Lou Workman, 52, of Peru, Ind., passed away March 2, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Born April 27, 1959, at Logan, she was a daughter of the late Lindsey and Estelene Sawyer Workman.
Vickie was a former employee of Health South in Kokomo, Ind. She loved taking care of her pets, or “babies” as she called them, William, Nitro, Yoda, Cinnamon, Saschie, Kitty Nipper and Lucky Kitty.
Survivors include her loving companion of 22 years, Pam Coleman of Peru; brothers, Keith (Valerie), Scott (Louise) and Lindsey Workman, all of Logan; sister, Shawn Workman of Logan; sisters-in-law, Jill (Carl) Reffitt and Bobbie (Terry) Kern, both of Peru, and nieces and nephews, Audra Kay of Logan, and Taylor Wilson, Leanndra and Karhli Wilson, Mikhail Blue, Dustin and Kegan Kern, and Lillie Koontz, all of Peru.
