VIRGINIA HAGER

ROBINETTE, W.Va. — Virginia Mae Browning Hager, 84, of Robinette, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 15, 2012, from her home after a long illness.

Born August 25, 1927, at Kistler, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Cecil McGraw Browning. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Harold Hager; two sons, Bill and Gary Hager, and one daughter, Brenda Sue Hager Adkins.

Virginia was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and her church family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Jennifer Adkins and Jesse Adkins, both of Robinette, Medina (Travis) Akers of Winfield, Ruford (Nikki) Adkins Jr. of Amherstdale, Jessica (Mark) Hughes of Accoville, and Serena (Davis) Holston and Tabitha Hager, both of New Castle, Okla.; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Tiberius, Ashley, Joseph and Autumn; one great-great-grandchild; a very special neighbor, Esta Burgess, and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from noon-1 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the Crown Freewill Baptist Church where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
