ETHEL, W.Va. — Janetta Butcher, 67, of Ethel, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born March 7, 1945, at Holden, she was a daughter of the late Harlan and Jessie Lawson Muncey.

Survivors include her children, Timothy Moore and Gabriel Creakman, both of Monitor, Jacklyn (Shawn) Swift of North Carolina, Brent Moore of Logan and Michael (April) Creakman of Stollings; sisters, Debra Evans of Mud Fork, Peggy Brown of Switzer and Tina Farley of Chapmanville.; one brother, Edward “Deanie” Muncey of Mud Fork, and nine grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Donnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Frye Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of the arrangements.
