DENVER PERRY SR.
MADISON CREEK, W.Va. — Denver “Daddy Jack” Perry Sr., 75, of Madison Creek passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, at his home.
Born March 3, 1937, in Orville, he was a son of the late Arlo and Lillian Perry. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Arlo and Everett Perry, and one sister, Agnes Lawson.
Denver enjoyed sitting at the hollow on Madison Creek and Pickin’ in the Park.
Survivors include his daughters, Renee (Mark) Francis of Vinson, Ohio, Kimberly (Donald) Thomas of Charleston, Jackie (Glen) Elswick of Virginia, and Laura (Steve) Dimaria of South Carolina; sons, Denver Perry Jr. and Jeffrey Perry, both of Lyburn; his former wife and mother of his children whom he still loved, Joyce Ann Perry; sisters, Belle (Charles) Burgess of Ohio and Margaret White of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Maxine Perry; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, June 4, at the James Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Perry’s body has been cremated.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma was in charge of arrangements.
