CLIFFORD CALLOWAY JR.
NEIBERT, W.Va. — Clifford “Cheezy” Calloway Jr., 52, of Neibert, departed this life Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Cary and Archie Caldwell Jr. of Cyclone, after a long illness.
Born October 19, 1959, at Man, he was a son of the late Clifford Sr. and Judy Maynard Calloway. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, twins Mark and Mickey, and Randy Calloway; grandparents, Bessie and William Calloway; niece, Miranda Calloway, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Clara Buchanan.
Clifford loved motorcycle riding, talking on the phone and spending time with his grandchildren and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 27 years, Bertha Marie Workman Calloway; two daughters, Michelle (John) Williams of Four Oaks, N.C., and Cary (Archie Jr.) Caldwell of Cyclone; one son, Gary (Missy) Workman II of Neibert; grandmother, Ruby Hoosier of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, James (Kim) Calloway of Harts; two grandsons, Joshua Deboard of Duncan Fork and Jeremy (Tiffany) Caldwell of Accoville; five granddaughters, LeeAnna (Chris) Blankenship, Ashlee Caldwell, Kaylee Caldwell, and Melissa Bragg, all of Cyclone, and Samantha (Michael) Walker of North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren, Braxton, Bryson, and Emily Caldwell, and Kodi, Makayla, Nicholas, and Corey Walker along with a set of unborn twins; five nieces, Whitney Calloway, Candy Calloway, Mandy Calloway, Brandy Calloway and Becky Calloway; one nephew, Phillip Dingess Calloway; four great-nieces, Jazmune, Amanda, Heaven and Audrianna; three great-nephews, Tyler, Elijah and Benjamin; one special uncle, Butch Maynard of Indianapolis; one special aunt, Alma Calloway of Glen Daniels, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. P. J. Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James Calloway, Jackie Starkey, Henry Glandon, Brett Calloway, Ray Watts, Kendell Dingess and Timmy Mullins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Deboard, Jeremy Caldwell, Chris Blankenship, Patty (Caldwell) Ely and Lee.
