ROSSMORE, W.Va. — Robert “Bob” Lee Browning, 62, of Rossmore, went to be with his Lord and Saviour Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston.

Born November 25, 1949, at Logan, he was a son of the late James and Anna Vance Browning. Also preceding him in death was one brother, James Howard Browning.

Bob was a retired coal miner and a member of the Switzer Church of God.

Survivors include his loving wife, Katherine Dowdy Browning; two sons, Robert “Bobby“ (Jayna) Browning II and Kevin (Tamara) Browning, both of Chapmanville; one daughter, Shawna Farmer (Tommy McLemore) of Monaville; one brother, Ronald (Donna) Browning of Virginia; three sisters, Joyce Hill and Janice (Neil) Craddock, both of Lake, and Sharon (Larry) Doss of Monaville; five grandchildren, Brenna Browning, Devin Browning, and Jason, Ryan and Joshua Farmer; his mother-in-law, Jane Dowdy, and a host of additional family, church family and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Switzer Church of God with Pastor Bob Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the church.
