HOLDEN, W.Va. — Wanda Jean White Browning, 73, of Holden, when home to be with the Lord Monday, November 26, 2012, at CAMC General Division in Charleston.
Born August 12, 1939 in Logan, she was a daughter of the late James Riley and Mabel Dorie White. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 55 years, Robert Lee Browning; an infant daughter, Wanda Kay Browning; a brother, James Kenneth White, and a sister, Ruth VanNatter.
Wanda was a member of the New Hope Assembly Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathie L. Dingess and Karen (Glen) Lusk; one son, Justin Robert Browning, and two granddaughters, Wendie M. Dingess and Krystle L. Farris, all of Logan; two sisters, Linda C. VanNatter of Hammond, Ind., and Jessie Smith of Ohio; one special nephew, Charles Robert Crane; two uncles, Paul Browning of Owensburg, Ky., and Allen Browning of Kentucky; four great-grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 1, at James Funeral Home with Shane Dennison officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Pallbearers will be Glen Lusk, Ira Lusk, Justin Browning, Harry Dingess, Michael Crane, and John VanNatter.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
