I was blessed to have the opportunity to be taught by Ms. Varcalli for two years at Logan High. I'm really sad to hear of her passing today. Ms. Varcalli was truly one of the sweetest ladies I had to chance to meet during my high school years. Long after my graduation, I would run into her in various places. After not having me in class for nearly 10 years, she would still greet me with a smile and offer her warm words of encouragement. Those acts of kindness will always stay with me throughout my life. Logan High was blessed to have such a remarkable faculty member.
