LOGAN - Calling all talent in Logan County: You will soon have the chance to showcase what you've got and maybe even win some prizes.
The Logan County Family Resource Network - in sponsorship with KVC West Virginia, NECCO, Children's Home Society, ResCare, Logan Regional Medical Center and Robert Noone Adoption Services - is now accepting registrations for their upcoming Logan's Got Talent competition that will be held in late April.
The talent show will be judged by season six American's Got Talent winner and Logan native Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., singer Anna Butcher and WCHS-TV host Kennie Bass.
The winner of the competition will receive a recording session with Landau's producer at Chandler Audio Studios in Ashland, Kentucky, and the chance to be the opening act for the next headline performance at the Coalfield Jamboree. Cash prizes also will be awarded: $500 first place, $300 second place and $200 third place.

The competition will be held at the Savas Kostas Performing Arts Center inside Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26. Admission is $1.
