GREGORY DEAN BATES, 69 of Yuma, W.Va., husband of Drema Mullins Bates, died April 7 at home. He was a retired surface miner from Arch Coal. Honoring his wishes, services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Heart Association. Collins Funeral Home, Switzer, W.Va., is directing arrangements.
