The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage and urgently needs blood and platelet donors to give now to avoid delays in lifesaving medical care for patients. Volunteer blood drive hosts are also critically needed to prevent the shortage from worsening this winter.

Thanks to a donation from Sherwin-Williams and the effort of volunteers from Rev Up Madison, the beginning for what will be a mural on a wall of the Hacienda Restaurant on Main Street was started. The Hacienda provided lunch for the workers.

Relief efforts included donations of money, water, food and other essentials needed by the first responders on the ground and the displaced members of the community.
